Personnel Protection Services Limited through rigorous screening have selected Officers, who have been given additional training by Senior Officers in all areas of the Security Service, in order to provide you with exceptional individuals who will be able to address all your needs for service.
Each applicant is given an aptitude exam which includes written, English, Practical Knowledge and a Physiological overview to ensure that our Officers can adapt to any environment in which they work.
Prerequisite for Recruitment:
- Certificate of Character
- Background check by PPS
- Drug Test by PPS
- In good health / physical condition
- National of Trinidad & Tobago with 2 forms of Identification
- Original and Copy of Birth Certificate
- Good command of the English Language
- Between the ages of 18 – 49 years
- 2 recommendations

- General Duties of a Security Officer
- Public Relations
- Appearance and Turnout (dress code)
- Telephone Etiquette/Use
- Patrols and Fixed Post Duties
- Writing of Pocket Diary
- Writing of Station/Post Diary
- Reports Writing
- Statement Writing
- Use of Force
- Observation Skills & Memory
- Patrol Techniques
- Safety and the Protection Officer
- Fire Prevention & Detection
Upon completion of these criterions, our full fledged officers are outfitted with an officer’s kit which includes, Uniform Shirt, Trouser, Belt, Hat/Beret/Cap, Baton and Shoe/Boots. For a three (3) months probationary period upon successful completion they are selected for Level 2 Training.
